Composers need performers, and performers need composers; we believe the future of music depends on the vital collaboration between composers and performers to create music that people care about. Percussion is probably the most complex and daunting instrumental family to commit to writing for, since there is really no end to numbers of instruments in the family. More Information

Artnival

Artnival
Saturday, June 1st. 4-9pm
North Park

ARTNIVAL is coming back to Riverside! A step back in time onto the grounds of a carnival near the turn of the last century. It will have games, food, music, and performers that one might imagine from a simpler time. But there will be a twist. Rather than winning a balloon or a goldfish, people who play the games will walk away with a piece of original art.
One of the goals is to introduce the community to local artists as they experience art outside of a traditional museum setting. All proceeds will go to the Division 9 Gallery non-profit fund, which seeks to educate the community in arts and traditions, as well as to cultivate up and coming artists. More Information
